30,000km self-service

Slowly working through the America's 30,000km service with all the simple (for me that is) things checked-off such as oil change and oil filter change. Everything checked as it's supposed to be checked including brake pad wear but not the spark plugs as yet. I've been delaying that while I decide on which plugs to use as replacements. For this service they only need to be checked but I thought I'd replace them regardless. So I've been looking at a couple of different types - Nology Silver and NGK Iridium; but as I said, I'm still undecided.

TuneECU - Free software for EFI tuning

I'm part way through completing a 30,000 km service for the America and one stated requirement is to check the ECU for errors.

TOMCC Balyes Link Run

Sorry if I missed anyone at Bayles. I was just a tad 'out of it' on that Sunday. Hooked up with the PS City guys for the ride out there but was not very well (so to speak). Bit of a boring ride out there and the closure of the more direct route proved a bit of a pain.

ABR 2010

Just when I thought it was safe to go out

After such an atrocious week-end with the hail and the rain and the hale etc etc, I decided to take the America for a bit of a rub. Nothing too taxing (of course) and because I was 'at work', not too long.

America vibration problem

I've had my bike back from its 10,000km service at PS Ringwood for just on a month now and I'm a tad miffed.

When I picked it up I noticed a slight vibration through the foot-pegs throughout the gear range (all speeds) with additional 'tingling' at higher speeds through the hand grips.

A little blow jobbie

The clock

I finally bought the clock for the America.

Moleworth Pub ride June 28

A very cold and foggy start to the day. I had to pick up my daughter (Melissa) in South Yarra and set off into the mist. A slow ride along the Eastern Freeway found me a little damp but the sun broke through around the Chandler Highway so my sprits rose.

Back out along the same freeway but then onwards through the tunnel and then the Rindwood bypass - and getting foggier and colder all the way along.
