Excellent day so many thanks

Excellent day so many thanks to Bugger and everyone else for turning up.

Good run from Warrandyte to Kinglake (first time for me) even with the scary twistie bits where you can now see all the way down with all the foliage burnt away.

Big gathering at Kinglake, and again rather humbling to see all the devastation all around. But good to see so much activity in the town itself.

Another good ride then to Flowerdale, lots of sweeping bends and plenty of bikes. Mind you didn't see Bugger 'til I got to the pub but enjoyed every minute of the ride - even the strong cross winds were no problem.

Lots of bikes of all sorts at Flowerdale with a large range of ages of the riders regardless of what they were riding. Very friendly atmosphere there and very welcoming pub (first time there also).

Thanks again to Bugger for returning via Melba Highway - wasn't too keen on going through the burnt stuff again. I was generally bringing up the rear but that suits me just fine. Helps me with my riding, especially the cornering to follow the more experienced lads.
