Broadford Round 4

What a great weekend! Broadford Round 4.
The bike is proving very reliable and didn't need any work at all. Well except for changing the tyres for the wet weather. Then back to dry weather for the sunday.
Saturday qualifying was awesome on full wet tyres, we qualified miles in front for pole position.
Then came crashing to reality in the first race when the wet weather demon, Tas flew past me to win his second race ever in solo's.
Sunday it was drying up a bit (unlike my tent) so I went back to the dry tyres but it was still very damp and enough for Tas to get another well deserved win......Bugga!
The last race saw me fly into the lead to be penalised for a jump start......Bugga again!
I sort of won the race only to have a 10 second penalty imposed to get an official second again. With craig obviously less the 10 seconds behind. So I lost 6 points to craig with that dumb move. So I only gained 1 point in the championship to lead by 17 points.
The biggest news of the round was the sort of successful launch of our new superlight!
Well it's a cheap chinese import dirt bike with some road tyres on it. But it qualifies as a superlight.
150 cc's of thumping power!!!
It was the best laugh i've had in years. Pic attached.
1st race I got 1 lap and it flooded itself and leaked fuel everywhere.
2nd race I was in a huge battle with a bloke old enough to be my grandfather, when my fuel cap fell off and I was Black flagged.
3rd race I made it to the finish line and NOT LAST!!! I got 5th.
I cant wait to get it to phillip Island for the final round in 3 weeks.
It should be a laugh. And the GPz900r should go well there.
Cheers!
