Interclub Broadford round 2

WOW!!!!!!~
Who would have thought!!!!
I had the wrong size front rim all along!!!
Half an inch wider on the front rim is now making the tyre profile correct instead of WAY wrong!
Now we can really race.

Yesterday at Broadford Interclub race was the first run for the Big GPz with the correct set up on the front end, combined with the mods done by dave at Krooztune.
Well........... amazing. It feels like a proper race bike for the first time. It was good before but now it's awesome!
I won all three races and by the third I was getting used to the better ride and I was flying. Without official timing I still think I was at least 2-3 seconds faster.

Race 3 Saw another lightning start to go from 5th to first. Then Darren on a fireblade went past and I held second place for all but the last 2 laps to finish third overall and my nearest Period 6 rival was 18th!!!! Beating many much newer bikes and all the very fast 400's.

A huge effort by pit wizard, Chris to ride up at 6am Sunday morning in the driving rain to help me with everything. He even stayed on for the presentations before riding home in the dark and with only 3 months on his learners.

So just as my rivals in the all important Hartwell series have made huge advances to catch up to me. I have now found some extra speed and it should be a very exciting next race. Boy do I have a surprise for them!!!!!

Next race; Interclub series Phillip Island June 8th........BRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Next Hartwell series: Broadford June 21 & 22
Entry is free.
