Qld Farts July Ride
For the July ride may I suggest an old favourite
'The Loop'.
I think everybody is familiar with this one and it's a great time of year to do it. We can have a BYO BBQ at The Spit as we have done before or pick something up (Hamburger) at the Cafe and join us at The Spit a little ways up the road. You know this is a good run so come along and have some fun !
Itinerary
The Gap's BP (apparently it now stands for Buggering Planet) Gather at 9.30 for a warmer Winter start at 10am.
First Stop at White Cedar (it is a little safer to access than Red Cedar), Lunch at (you guessed it) The Spit , Another Stop at Woodford and if you wish, over Mt. Mee for a Beer at the Dayboro Hotel.
This little excursion totals less than 200klms and allows plenty of time for chinwagging and covers all types of country.
I am posting this well ahead in case someone else has another idea they are more than welcome to put forward. Put something extra up on a different date if you wish. July 11 just fits in with the Mid-month Sunday we usually do.

I did ask my GP last week if

Date Change ?
Due to July 11 being very busy for all, a date change may be neccessary.
The following Sunday the 18th has been put forward at this point.
18th is out
I have had correspondence from our Crokey and Boof and we will be doing a run on the 11th. Thanks to all who replied and informed they would be busy on both the 11th and the 18th, July is a busy month, Cheers !

Yeah, looks like we will only be few so screw the BBQ we'll just stop at a cafe somewhere.
Neal if your back is still a bit touchy then, we can give the bumpy section behind Somerset a miss and go somewhere else instead, no wories.

Ride 11th July
Good to be back online after a terminal machine meltdown. Got to learn how to use this one though. Still trying to amass e-mail addresses
Anyway,,, Bensta, I expect we will be having lunch around 12. 10am depart The Gap and arrive White Cedar 1hr and 50klms later. 20 mins for a Break and a further 30mins to a Cafe at Sommerset somewhere.
Neal, glad you have a Guest. I must charge up the Video Camera to capture you getting on and off the bike, might be worth something on Funniest Home Video.

Might have dusted the cobwebs of off Speedy Pom rang him on the w/end sounded pretty keen, I went for a spin up the mt yesterday was pretty slow the cops where up there doing the rounds.It was a bit chilly up there still & wet at 10.30 ish.
