Tassie Day Four
Day Four Hobart
Awoke this morning after a good nights sleep and what did we find, glorious sunshine, Wow, Autumn in Tasmania, Today we head off to the Tahune Airwalk about an hours ride south-west of Hobart in the Huon Valley, left Hobart about 9 o'clock and took the B64 Huon Rd, it looks great on the map, unfortunetley the road was wet and no fun at all, the rest of the ride to Geeveston was great 100 + smooth corner after smooth corner. At Geeveston we turned right and headed for the Tahune Airwalk, nice tight road, a bit tight two up.
The airwalk is quite good to be able to get up amongst the canapy and see the bush from a differant prospective. ....

After the walk it was back to the cafe for coffee and a toasted sanga that was morning tea, now were off to a place called Ida Bay, there's a historic train there which may be worth a look. Ida Bay is about 1 hour past Geeveston, we arrived about 2.15 which was good as the next tour was 2.30. The tour went for two hours and its only 14km round trip so sloooowww. ...
