Tassie day two
Day two Stanley to Cradle Mountain
Awoke this morning to bright sunshine, that brought a smile to our faces,. this time of the year the weather is usually average !, packed the luggage on the bike then off to breakfast, bacon, eggs, tomatoes & good coffee just the right start to the day.
Left Stanley about 10.00am heading down the Bass Highway for Wynyard then head south to Cradle Mountain. arrived in Cradle Mountain about 12.00. Great roads over hear, most of the way we sat on 120-130kph hardly passed a car plenty of corners,hate to do this state in a car.
We stayed in some Eco Park oppersite the visitors centre, unpacked the bike and went up to Dove Lake. Took a short walk to the boat shed for some photos, i didn't like walking with a winter jacket in bright sunshine but the photo was worth it. Plenty of walks around the area if your not recovering from Christmas Day, Ha Ha
Nothing much to do at night unless you like walking, so we watched a bit tv and had an early night,

I wish for the day we could get a few down there for a ride and about 10 days to kick back and explore tassie on bikes, It would be great with a group.
